Hello everyone!! I am back!! Sorry for the long hiatus!! I've been busy perusing other food options! Just kidding... I was out and about trying new and exciting buffalo sauces!! I do want to start by saying that their is a reason I love Buffalo and NOT BBQ! I went to Maurice's BBQ in Tennessee last month and it was so mediocre. There were signs for it everywhere and it looked delicious! The BBQ sauce was yellow and tasteless! So disappointing! Luckily for it, I was starving so I ate it! As Michelle and Gaston would say, "Crazy old Maurice!!"
While on vacation in Myrtle Beach, the fam and I tried a whole new Buffalo sauce. It was called Moore's Buffalo sauce and looked rather delicious. After we had our chicken fingers the phrase around the hotel room was, "Moore's needs MORE flavor!" (Us Abel's are really clever) It was such a different kind of Buffalo than I have ever had. Something was definitely missing, but I'm glad we branched out. For sure stick to Frank's Red Hot!
I saw Buffalo crab dip and am sad to report that I didn't try it! It scared me to much! I will try it one day, guaranteed! I need to start liking seafood first!
I am going to Scotty's Brewhouse tonight so I will be sure to report back on theirs!! It sounds and looks delicious!

ReplyDeleteSeriously, are you traveling around the midwest (or perhaps all these united states) w/ the express purpose of documenting all buffalo sauces nationwide? You might need to start applying for grants to study international buffalo sauces. ^_^ I bet there's never been a comparative study.
ReplyDeleteHaha, if I could get a grant for that I would Lydia!! I'd like to try and make my own buffalo sauce!! That's for the future though!! I am just trying every kind of buffalo sauce I can find; wherever, I can find it!! If you find any let me know!! I will for sure blog about it!!
